‘Stage Starters’ age 4-6

Our youngest group attend weekly for 1.5 hours at the following time and venues:

  • Wednesday @ Naunton Park Primary 4pm to 5.30pm
  • Thursday @ Naunton Park Primary 4pm to 5.30pm
  • Friday @ Bettridge School 4pm to 5.30pm
  • Saturday @ St James’ Primary School 9.30am to 11am

We find the perfect balance between having loads of fun whilst learning new skills and techniques in dance, drama, singing and learning new routines and pieces for whichever performance they have coming up. Our ‘Stage Starters’ perform their own large scale show every Christmas in a large theatre. Parents are surprised at what we achieve with this age group in these shows. Group sizes are small and written reports are given every summer term.

‘UPPER SCHOOL’ ages 6-14

Our ‘Upper Schools’ operate on the following days and times:

  • Wednesday @ Naunton Park Primary 4.30pm to 7.30pm
  • Thursday @ Naunton Park Primary 4.30pm to 7.30pm
  • Friday @ Bettridge School 4.30pm to 7.30pm
  • Saturday @ St James’ Primary School 10am to 1pm

Children of all abilities are welcome to our ‘Upper School’ where the shows and performances step up another level from ‘Stage Starters’. Read our ‘About’ section to hear more about what we offer. The ‘Upper School’ attend for 3 hours weekly where children rotate around the dance, drama, singing teachers with a 10 minute food break in the middle. We take a register at the start all together and then divide off into the 3 different age groups of 17 children.
Written reports are given every summer term.

‘THE ACADEMY’ ages 14-18

  • Fridays @ Bournside Theatre Studio 5pm to 7pm term time.

Our Academy students take their training to a higher level in small group sizes of no more than 20 students, working as a small theatre company to a more professional standard. We provide training in preparation for a future in the performing arts but also for those who simply love to enjoy the performing arts with like minded young adults. We perform shows and demos each term with a skills and techniques term in the summer term. Written reports are given every summer term.
