Our youngest group attend weekly for 1.5 hours at the following time and venues:
- Thursday @ Naunton Park Primary School 4pm-5.30pm
- Friday @ Bettridge School 4pm-5.30pm
- Friday @ Barnwood Park school (Gloucester) 5pm-6.30pm
- Saturday @ Leckhampton High School 9.30am-11am and 11.15am-12.45pm
We find the perfect balance between having loads of fun whilst learning new skills and techniques in dance, drama, singing and learning new routines and pieces for whichever performance they have coming up. Our ‘Stage Starters’ perform their own large scale show every Christmas in a large theatre. Parents are surprised at what we achieve with this age group in these shows.

The ‘Upper School’ attend for 3 hours weekly where children rotate around the dance, drama, singing teachers with a 10 minute food break in the middle. We take a register at the start all together and then divide off into the 3 different age groups of 17 children.
Contemporary
/ We are delighted to offer a fabulous Contemporary Dance Class on Thursday nights from 7.30pm to 8pm at Naunton Park School. This is for ages 9+ only and will be taught by Miss Amy.
Contemporary dance is an increasingly more important and popular dance technique, in part due to its accessibility to dancers. The freedom of movement that contemporary allows affords dancers with less ballet or modern training or technique to still enjoy dance without the need for perfect turnout or feet. It also offers the perfect ‘mid way’ between ballet and modern so it develops the dancers all round abilities as a future ‘all round’ performer. Contemporary will often feature at college auditions and in most performing art / higher education / university courses. Aside from that it is a fun, freeing dance style enjoyed by most. It also perfectly compliments our Stage School training and the diversity of musical theatre training. This is why we wanted to add this extra class to our schools.
Fees are £75 payable by the term.
We will show parents what children have been working on each term but the intention of this class is not to work towards large scale performances. It’s more for enjoyment and to develop there all round dance ability. We may occasionally take the group for west end performances but not until the group is ready. If we ever have large end of term variety performances we will also showcase the contemporary group.

COMMERCIAL/ STREET/ BREAK DANCE
In an increasingly Commerical world where street dance is dominant, we often find that a lot of students are mastering dance styles from ballet to tap, musical theatre and such… however when they attempt ‘street’ dance they struggle to move their bodies that way!
These classes are only available to age 10-18 with limited availability.
Classes are £112 per term. Notice is required at half term as per normal Stage School practise.
We will work towards showing parents routines at the end of each term.
